Equine Assisted Therapy
EAGALA or Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association Model, is the global standard in equine counseling. The model consists of a mental health specialist, an equine specialist, and a horse, inside an enclosed arena with the client. EAGALA is about the horses doing the work of effecting change in a person’s life.
COMBINING FAITH WITH REFUGE AND REFLECTION
LEARNING HEALING GROWING
“Often, we are living in the past, looking in our rear view mirror, or living in the future and creating anxiety worrying about tomorrow. It is the here and now that is most important, and the horses teach us to enjoy life the best we can in the present”
